The Blackmagic Web presenter 4K is a great way to stream your next live broadcast to YouTube, Facebook, Twitch or to a host of other built-in streaming destinations in up to 4K 12G high quality. Choose from quality and frame size presets or build your own using advanced scripting. Connect to the device via SDI input with embedded audio. Use it as a webcam into your computer or stream over Ethernet or via your mobile on USB. It is a versatile solution for high speed, high quality video streaming.

Connect to the Blackmagic web presenter utility app (free from Blackmagic support download) on a computer to set the streaming keys and then monitor the interface output on an external monitor via SDI or HDMI. The built-in LCD screen gives you a view of the live stream, and the interface buttons show you the destination and go-live status.

The web presenter 4k has built in USB connections to work like a webcam, so you can connect a computer and use any streaming software, or even Skype or Zoom. You can use the web presenter like the Camlink 4K - a connected computer will see it as a webcam interface for video and audio. It's a great alternative if you want to monitor the feed properly.

For redundancy, you can stream to the internet via Ethernet or connect a 5G or 4G phone to use mobile data. Web Presenter also includes a technical monitoring output that includes video, audio meters, trend graphs and even SDI technical data - you can watch any buffering in real time and see how well your internet connection is working. Connect to a mobile phone via the front panel (also via rear usb-c) usb connection - from a remote location this is a great alternative if you don't have Ethernet or use it as a backup solution.

If you are hiring as part of a live production kit, then the web presenter 4k can be mounted on a rack shelf, or you can use it free-standing. It is a third width size 1U so you can fit 3 mini Teranex devices on one 1u rack shelf.

Supports up to 12G-SDI

Blackmagic Web Presenter includes a 12G‑SDI input with support for all HD and Ultra HD formats up to 2160p60. A 12G‑SDI loop output is included, enabling you to loop video through more than one web presenter, so you can stream to multiple services. Blackmagic Web Presenter features Teranex conversion technology on the SDI input for incredibly clean looking video.

Stream Monitoring in Real Time

Connect a monitor via HDMI or SDI and you can see a lot of technical data about the stream, including:

1) Streaming status (On-Air, streaming destination, quality preset, streaming protocol)
2) Video input status like input frame rate, colour, time code
3) Audio status and audio channel information
4) Video and audio history - a running 6-second history to allow you to spot any issues in the incoming feed
5) Cache fill data trend - helping you spot potential internet issues with buffering and data rate
6) Audio metering of the embedded SDI audio signal
