We have been working with Film London to bring four films to the digital cinema screen for the 2021 LFF For Free programme of events.
LFF for Free is a programme of free events including talks and debates, short film screenings, VR experiences and much more. This is all part of the BFI's annual London Film Festival
We were asked to create DCP files for the 4 films (see below), with a fairly tight time frame in order to have them ready for screening as part of a wide range of the events which will be running over the two weekends of the festival, 9 to 10 October and 16 to 17 October 2021.
The six filmmakers / films were:
- Leave to Remain - A political comedy by director & writer Remy Bazerque
- Blue Bottle - A silent animation by Jenny Wright
- Waiting for God - a drama looking at homelessness by Alecky Blythe
- Colby - A Short Film about Pregnancyby Rashida Seriki
More information about the LFF For Free events can be found here: https://www.bfi.org.uk/london-film-festival/news/lff-for-free
The films were supplied in a range of formats, and different frame rates, but we were able to get all 4 films ready and the files were delivered on Hard Drive to Film London in time for the screenings
