Captions for The Space Movie by Tony Palmer

We have been creating new captions for the 1979 feature documentary The Space Movie from award-winning director Tony Palmer. The film was created at the request of NASA to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landings.

The music on the movie features Mike Oldfield including Tubular Bells and some tracks that were never before released as music tracks. The film will soon be re-released on streaming platforms with the aid of the new subtitles.

There is a lot of archival footage of the launch program and Moon landings to maintain interest. Look out for the movie online soon.

The captions files were delivered in a format that can be used as subtitles on DVD or Blu-ray and also used on streaming platforms like YouTube, Nexflix, Vimeo and Amazon.
