We have been creating new captions for the fan-filmed football documentary Leyton Orient - Club for a Fiver, featuring the enigmatic and hard-done-by manager John Sutton as he attempts to stop his team being relegated, whilst its being sold from under him, in a bid to raise much needed funds for the club and players. It's a bitter-sweet showcase of club life in the 1990s.
Filmed in 1994-95 by film student Jo Trehearne, this low budget film gave her full access to the behind the scenes running of the Leyton Orient football club. This hard-hitting documentary features a lot of swearing in the worst season of the clubs' history, with legendary half-time rants from the manager.
Watch the classic football manager documentary on Amazon Prime or get more info about the film on IMDB.
We did a little bit of work upscaling the standard definition film to HD for distribution, as well as creating no holds barred captions - not easy with the speed of the dialogue in some places.
The captions files were delivered in a format that can be used as subtitles on DVD or Blu-ray and also used on streaming platforms like YouTube, Nexflix, Vimeo and Amazon.
If you need captioning for your film whether for International film festivals, for online distribution or just to improve your ranking on Google search then please get in touch with us for a quote. We like to see the completed content to quote for captions, as the amount of dialogue and quality of spoken word varies a lot from film to film.
