This Universal Blimp mount is designed to work with the Rode Blimp Windshield system as an alternative handle mount when using a boom pole or other 3/8" thread, rather then when hand holding the blimp with its standard handle. The Universal mount will reduce the overall weight of the Blimp system, which makes holding the boom up for longer just a bit easier.

These are included in our audio kits but can be added to the Blimp system individually.
