Mark has been working with Bristol University and the SABRE Consortium to produce a short film that demonstrates their work as part of the SABRE project.
SABRE is funded by the EU Horizons 2020 programme and stands for Shape Adaptive Blades for Rotorcraft Efficiency (SABRE).
The project has developed ground-breaking new helicopter blade morphing technologies which will reduce helicopter fuel burn, CO2 and NOx emissions by 5-10%, while also reducing noise emissions.
This video was produced for the SABRE consortium and features the Voice Over of Dr Ben K.S. Woods who is the principle Investigator of SABRE for the University of Bristol.
Due to Covid we were unable to create new interview content or location shots as originally planned with any of the project partners and so we used video clips supplied by the partners.
The clips were supplied in various formats and frame rates from 23.976 to 240p; which Mark retimed, stabilised and colour corrected as best he could to create a cohesive and interesting film. Most of the supplied videos were generated on phones and goPro, but despite the challenges Mark was able to produce a decent video for SABRE. Its a compelling message and I hope you enjoy!
