K9 First Aid filming with Absolute Dogs

Stu has been back to Okehamptonto film a live K9 First Aid event for the AbsoluteDogs dog training company.

Despite the freezing weather, students gathered in the indoor training centre (sadly not heated) to learn the basics of canine first aid from a visiting Australian vet who had travelled over to attend the recent Super Trainer Live event.

Stu captured the event using a tripod mounted Sony a7s II and another Sony on the Ronin-M gimbal. Audio was captured using an Edirol R-44 recorder, 2x Sennheiser radio mic kits and a handheld radio mic for QnA sessions.

The day covered a range of topics from checking a dogs heart rate to dealing with choking or poisoning. We even had a few willing doggy volunteers who had their legs bandaged.

The footage will be edited and uploaded to the Absolute Dogs Vimeo channel. From there they will embed the videos onto their members only website for students who sign up to view the First Aid course.

We have previously we have worked with AbsoluteDogs to author and replicate DVD releases, and we have helped them to produce a large amount of web content for their subscribers.

If you are interested in video production or just certain elements of it like filming & crew hire or post production and editing then please get in touch to discuss your next project.
