Devon man sets sights on making the next Gladiator Movie

Julian Poulter has been in the South West England news again after winning a Hollywood script award for his debut screenplay A Call To Arms and was interviewed for the Devon Live website. Julian hopes to seek funding to produce the script into a full-on Viking drama feature film and has been back to discuss pre-viz and storyboarding with Mark at Maniac Films. 

Mark initially helped Julian format the script and get it into shape for entry into festivals where it has been very successful as winning many 'Best script' and 'Best Historical script awards'. Mark has been discussing using various tools and AI features to create a trailer and possibly a full pre-vizualisation of the script, using local voice talent and gaming engine technology at this stage. Julian has engaged a local artist to work on some storyboards of the film too.

"It will be another big historical film; Gladiator, Braveheart, Kingdom of Heaven, Troy, that sort of thing," said Julian from Braunton, North Devon.
