Royal International Air Tattoo Vision mixing crew for Planes TV

Mark has spent a fun day in a hot field at the Royal International Air Tattoo, setting up vision mixing kit and watching the planes perform ariel acrobatics and compete for a range of awards from best paint scheme, best individual flight display to best overall flying demonstration.. and the winner is... The Black Eagles!

Well they didn't win every category but they did seem to pick up a few of the crew award this year!

Mark was at RIAT for Planes.tv with some Blackmagic vision mixing kit to help add some more colour to the awards ceremony for the flight crews. Using some great video clips filmed by planes.tv of the crews performing over the last few days, Mark mixed these in with a new powerpoint presentation during the awards ceremony to work in tandam with the presenters.

There were 6 display screens and a large PA system to help show the flying performances. There was also a DJ playing banging tunes all day to entertain the flight crews - especially after the awards when they celebrated even more!
