This is the Kupo 5/8" (16mm) to 5/8" (16mm) female adapter - it lets you mount different things to the top of a lighting stand like a tripod head / mounting plate adapter to support a camera slider on several C-stands instead of using a tripod.
This adapter is made by Chrome plated steel with a welded boss for long-lasting operation of the knob.
