This is the Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM lens - great on super35 cameras like Blackmagic pocket 6K and mini Ursa Pro G1/G2.
The EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM’s constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range makes the lens a great low light performer that’s able to make the most of any available ambient light. The fixed aperture also gives you optimum control over depth-of-field.
With an effective focal length range of approximately 27-88mm (35 mm full frame equivalent), the EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM is a powerful lens that delivers remarkable image quality.
The EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM features Canon’s 3-stop Image Stabilizer (IS). Ideal for handheld work, IS allows the use of shutter speeds up to 3 stops slower then normal with no perceptible increase in image blur. The IS function helps with low light conditions, fast paced scenes and shooting from moving vehicles.
Please note: Not compatible with Full Frame Cameras such as the Canon 5D range. This can be used with the Sony a7s mkII but only in cropped sensor mode.
