The Rycote Lightwave A5 Boom Pole is an aluminium, 2.5m, 5 section boom pole. This boom pole features an innovative triple-cam locking system which allows for minimal twisting when locking/unlocking. We have variants with and without a coiled XLR cable fitted inside the pole, making for a tidier working area on location. The internal cables are not being replaced now and Rycote does not supply them any longer so your boom may come with an external XLR cable instead of an internal one.

The pole weighs 780g, collapses to 0.66m(2'2") and extends to 2.5m(8'2"). See the Rycote G5 Carbon fibre boom pole for a lighter version without a built in XLR cable.
