Visual Effects 40+ VFX shots for Age Of Kill Feature Film

We have been working hard to complete a number of VFX, rotoscoping and motion tracking shots for upcoming Brit Flick - Age Of Kill. The film stars former Spandau Ballet front man & Eastenders star Martin Kemp as former black-ops sniper who is forced to kill 6 people in 6 hours in order to save his kidnapped daughter. We used a range of different pieces of software, including After Effects, Mocha & Photoshop, to remove pyrotechnic blasts (for gunshot wounds), track video onto mobile phone screens and add blood spray to a running target among other things. In total we worked on over 40 shots for the film. The film is scheduled for release later this year through Richwater Films.

FORTUNE DVD Authoring for DuPont with OneTwoFour

Following on from our recent DVD authoring work with One Two Four for Du-Pont, we have just produced another set of disks for the international chemical company. This DVD contained 8 short films ranging from 2 - 18 mins long and covering a range of projects on which DuPont has collaborated with FORTUNE 500 companies. The films were produced by OneTwoFour and delivered to us along with artwork assets. From the supplied assets we designed 5 dvd menus plus disc & cover artwork. We then created the dvd complete with various play-all options before duplicating 10 copies in dvd cases for distribution to offices in the USA & Japan.

DVD Authoring for Royal Mail Working with OneTwoFour

We have been working with One Two Four to produce a dvd for Royal Mail. OneTwoFour have produced an in-house training film for Royal Mail covering the issue of bullying & harassment in the workplace. Maniac Films were tasked with using artwork assets taken from the cover/disc artwork (supplied to us) to create a menu design and produce a finished DVD master containing the film both with & without subtitles Once approved by Royal Mail, we duplicated a number of copies with disc artwork, and supplied them in dvd cases with the printed cover artwork and delivered them direct to Royal Mail.

Location Photoshoot for Abbeymead Safety Training

Stu has spent the morning photographing at a health & safety training session with Abbeymead Safety Training. The photos will form part of a complete re-design and relaunch of their current website, which is quite outdated and was inherited from the previous business owner. The photos were taken in a room at the Calvert Trust on Exmoor and we were lucky to have a view over the reservoir throughout the training session. The photos will be edited and passed on to Barnz to be incorporated into the new site layout.

New british gangster flick We Still Kill The Old Way is now available on DVD & Blu-ray. In May 2014 we provided our Blackmagic 4K camera, lenses, tripod and directors monitor for the shoot which took place in London and Marbella. Then in August we were asked to assist with some motion tracking effects shots for post production The film centres around a group of 'old-school' gangsters, who see vengeance against a young street gang for the murder of one of the group.
